Rev. Melissa Sternhagen brings a deep commitment to equity, justice, and community empowerment to her role as Secretary of the Board. A pastor and former hospice chaplain, she draws on a diverse background in agribusiness, adult education, and organizational leadership. Melissa is especially passionate about advancing LGBTQIA+ justice and addressing food apartheid through systemic change. She believes in leveraging technology and collective action to build a more just and connected community for all.
